JAKARTA - Queen Tisha Destria was officially elected as deputy general chairman (Waketum) of PSSI for the period 2023-2027 at the Extraordinary Congress (KLB). The following is the profile of Queen Thasha, a woman who is familiar in the world of Indonesian football.
In the KLB agenda which took place at the Shangri-La Hotel, Central Jakarta, Thursday 16 February. Initially, the Deputy position was won by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali and Yunus Nusi.
However, there were protests asking for a re-voting, which occurred due to allegations of fraud. After the re-election, Ratu Tisha finally got the most votes, namely 54, narrowly superior to Yunus Nusi who received 53 votes.
Meanwhile, Zainudin Amali only won 44 votes. However, Yunus Nusi then resigned and Zainudin Amali returned to PSSI's Deputy General.
With the official vote count, Queen Thasha was elected as one of PSSI's important ranks for the 2023/2027 period. In fact, Queen Thasha is not a new figure in the Indonesian football federation body.
Queen Tisha served as Secretary General of PSSI before placing her position in 2020. Prior to that, she also served as director of the 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship competition.
In 2017, he was again trusted to be the director of the League 1 and League 2 competitions. But then he resigned when he was elected secretary general.
Queen Tisha's career in football was not achieved instantly. The woman who was born in Jakarta, December 30, 1985 was originally a graduate of Bachelor of Mathematics at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) college.
These times at college were the beginning of Queen Pasha to seriously throw herself into the world of football. He started it by starting to take care of local football clubs.
But when she was in high school at SMA 8 Jakarta, Ratu Tisha had also shown interest in managing football. At that school he was once the manager of the football team.
After graduating from ITB in 2008, Ratu Tisha had worked for several years at an oil drilling company. Then in 2013, she received a scholarship for the FIFA Master program, which is equivalent to a master's degree in management, law, and humanities.
Unmitigated, Queen Thasha has access to three prestigious universities in Europe. The three are SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy (management); Universite de Neuchatel in Neuchatel, Switzerland (law); and De Montfort University in Leicester, England (humaniora).
During the FIFA Master program, Ratu Tisha was in the same position as the Secretary General of FIFA, Fatma Samoura. In 2019, her career was again in the spotlight because she was asked to become Vice President at AFF.
