Judge Asked Prosecutor Pinangki About Andi Irfan Jaya Network, Had Touched NasDem
JAKARTA - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari revealed the reason for bringing Andi Irfan Jaya to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to be introduced to Joko Tjandra. Andi Irfan called Pinangki has a network.
Andi Irfan's network that was deemed able to help bring Joko Tjandra home to Indonesia was revealed when Chief Judge Ignasius Eko Purwanto questioned Pinangki with various questions. One of them is about the introduction process.
"What do you bring Irfan to Joko Tjandra ?," Eko asked in a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 6.
However, Pinangki did not answer that question straightforwardly. He only said that at that time Andi Irfan Jaya said he had a network that could help Joko Tjandra.
"Then Irfan said that he could help with his network," said Pinangki.
Then, Eko mentioned Pinangki's friendship with Andi Irfan Jaya, which has been around for a long time. Because of that, the judge assessed that it was impossible for Pinangki to not know the network owned by Andi Irfan Jaya.
Moreover, Pinangki is an educated figure and works as a prosecutor. For the judge, it would be impossible if he did not ask the context of the network.
"You have known Irfan for a long time, you certainly understand what Irfan means, does he have a network?" Asked Eko.
But Pinangki just replied that he did not know the network context that Andi Irfan Jaya was referring to. Besides that, he admitted that he did not ask further about the network.
"I do not understand the noble. Who or how I do not understand. But he said yes he can (help with the network) that's all," replied Pinangki.
"At that time, regarding Joko Tjandra, he did not specifically say who he knew, Noble. So I left it to Mr. Joko," he continued.
Hakim Eko had mentioned the possibilities of the network owned by Andi Irfan Jaya. Including the matter of networking in the Attorney General's Office to the NasDem party.
"Is that network within the scope of the prosecutor? S in the Supreme Court? In the DPR? Is it because Irfan has a NasDem political background ?," asked Eko.
But again, Pinangki said he did not know the network context of Andi Irfan Jaya. "I also do not understand the noble," said Pinangki.
