JAKARTA - The film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train officially opens in Indonesian theaters. Fans can watch the action of Tanjiro and friends at the CGV and XXI cinemas, which start airing today.

Judging from the CGV and TIX ID applications, pre-sale tickets for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train have opened. The film, which was a success at the Japanese box office, will air today January 6 to 12, 2021.

CGV cinema even offers a 4DX experience to watch the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie. For ticket prices starting from IDR 80 thousand on Weekdays and IDR 100,000 at Weekends.

In its home country, the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train has recently been named the best-selling film of all time in Japan. This success overtook several films such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Your Name.

Since its release on October 16, Kimetsu no Yaiba earned US $ 100 million within 10 days. This success made this film shown on more than 379 cinema screens throughout October to December.

The film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train was adapted from the comic of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge. This comic was first released in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2016 to May 2020.

The film tells of a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who becomes a demon exterminator. His family was murdered and his younger sister, Nezuko turned into a demon.

Together Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu will join forces with Kyojuro Rengoku the Flame Hashira, the strongest warrior in the Demon Slayer Corps. They will board the Mugen Train to eradicate the demons that attack the train passengers.
