Jerinx Says About Writing SID's New Song, Underground Angel: Created In Kerobokan Prison Using Mineral Water Galons
JAKARTA - Superman Is Dead will release a new single titled underground Angel on February 17 tomorrow.
Through social media, Jerinx said that the process of writing this single was carried out in Kerobokan Prison when he was in detention.
Some of the stolen visuals of the recording process for the underground Angel's singles in Kerobokan Prison while I was serving my detention there. I wrote this song around October 2020 at the Bali Police detention center using no musical instruments, other than gallons of water (percussion)," said the drummer via Instagram.
I dedicate this song specifically to my friends/brothers/men who graduate never stop voicing #FreeJRX #SaveJRX when I'm inside, both in case 1 and case 2. You are truly extraordinary. I want to be like you at the bottom of my heart; move together without uniforms when there are friends/friends/friends whose rights are trampled on by the designers of the legal mafia who created the habitat of the Mahakorup system who are increasingly here increasingly hostile to the essence of the meaning of independence and humanity," continued Jerinx.
"Yes, underground angel, this is for you. You know who you are," he concluded.
The song Underground Angel also marks the next round in the SID music journey. The reason is, the group fronted by Bobby (vocals), Eka (bass), and of course this Jerinx (drums) has not released a work since 2019.
