Sasar Pekerja Di Desa, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Gandeng Bhabinkamtibmas

JAKARTA - As many as 45 percent of Indonesian workers are actually in the village, for that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan targets as much protection as possible for workers in rural and sub-districts.

To make it happen, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cooperates with Bhabinkamtibmas in order to directly target workers in villages who are generally included in the informal worker segment or non-wage earners segment.

"We are starting to focus on villages and sub-districts, the 3 pillars in the village are village heads, bhabinkamtibmas and babinsa, now to work on this we are moving our friends to collaborate with babin so that informal workers in the village can be immediately protected by employment bpjs," said Zainudin, Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership after attending joint socialization activities and increasing the ability of bhabinkamtibmas, Wednesday afternoon in Jakarta, Wednesday 15 February.

Zainudin added that his party had collaborated with the National Police Chief, one of whose forms of cooperation was how to collaborate with the community coordination, which was especially Bhabinkamtibmas.

Furthermore, he said, currently workers in the village can be protected by employment social security by using village funds, and this collaboration will accelerate the realization of a prosperous society.

"Protection for workers in villages can now also be carried out using village funds, because there are already regulations from the Minister of Home Affairs, Regulations from the Minister of Finance, Regulations from the Minister of Villages, there are rules from the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, now our role with Mr. Babin is hopefully to be more accelerated. We have a program of 100 people per village," explained Zainudin.

The diversity and number of workers in the village have forced BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to take special steps so that informal segment workers will easily understand the importance of social security and also immediately realize to register themselves as participants, the approach is called the "Gold Free Hard Work" campaign.

The activity was also attended by the Head of Sub-Directorate of Bhabinkamtibmas Ditbinmas Korbinmas Baharkam Polri, Kombes Pol. Tatar Nugroho, Main Tutor of the National Police Education and Training Center, Kombes Pol Herawati Suprisyaning Hartanti and Kasibinev Sub-Directorate Bhabinkamtibmas Ditbintibmas Korbintibmas Baharkam Polri, AKBP Widya Budhi Hartati.

In addition to socializing social security programs and also symbolically handing over compensation to workers with the security profession, this activity is also carried out to improve the ability for 16 thousand bhabinkamtibmas from all over the country. The materials or skills conveyed are the materials needed by Bhabinkamtibmas in carrying out their functions in the community, including door to door system, early detection, problem of solving and effective communication and negotiation.

Tatar Nugroho in his statement said that Bhabinkamtibmas is ready to assist BPJS Employment in providing socialization and education to workers, especially workers in villages.

"So one of the tasks of Bhabinkamtibmas is to carry out the tasks given by the government, for example Covid yesterday, BLT assistance, this BPJS Employment program is one that we will support later, so the role of Bhabinkamtibmas is to support the socialization of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in the region. So later Babin will coordinate with babinsa and village heads," concluded Tatar.

Separately, the Head of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Kebayoran Baru Branch Office Boby Foriawan in his statement stated that his party immediately collaborated with the local Bhabinkamtibmas to socialize the BPJS Employment program to village officials and informal workers who do not yet have employment social security protection.

"The collaboration with Bhabinkamtibmas is expected to maximize the acceleration of the protection of employment social security, especially in the informal worker sector or non-wage recipient workers who are now being campaigned by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, namely "Cemas Free Hard Work", concluded Boby.
