Minister Erick Thohir Jamin BUMN Ready To Help The Departure Of The Hajj Jemaah
JAKARTA - Minister Erick Thohir emphasized the commitment of SOEs that are ready to help with the departure of Hajj, related to one of the large components, namely the cost of avtur.
Erick continues to coordinate with the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and the House of Representatives (DPR).
"Of course, regarding the cost of Hajj that is being discussed with the Ministry of Religion and the DPR, we are basically open to conducting studies on Hajj trips," said Erick Thohir in his statement, Wednesday, February 15.
The issue of avtur can have a significant impact on the cost of hajj departures. SOEs are fully committed to helping ease and make it easier for people to worship the holy land.
PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is open to providing hajj bracelets.
"Regarding the existence of BSI, it helps ease the procurement of Hajj bracelets that may be able to become sponsors. This is still a further discussion stage between us and the Ministry of Religion. I am sure, under the leadership of Gus Yaqut, the Ministry of Religion continues to provide the best service for our prospective pilgrims," he said.
Previously, the national airline Garuda Indonesia ensured that the operational readiness of Hajj flights referred to the provisions and policies of the Government of Saudi Arabia.
President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, stated his commitment to provide air connectivity to the Holy Land for prospective Indonesian pilgrims through safe and comfortable flight services in this new normal era.
Garuda Indonesia ensures that the fleet that will be used in carrying out the Hajj flight services is airworthy and serviceable, including ensuring the consistency of the implementation of health protocols in all operational lines.
