Ambon Rutin Razia Pengmis Dan Anak Jalanan YANG Rata-rata Datang Dari Sulawesi Tenggara

JAKARTA - The Ambon City joint team is aggressively raiding midfielders and beggars in public spaces and main roads.

"Raids are routinely carried out considering the activities of beggars, homeless people and street children on main roads and public spaces are quite disturbing," said Ambon Mayor Bodew Wattimena, Wednesday, February 15.

He said the Social Service and Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) would place personnel at a number of points such as locations under the Red and White Bridge, as well as conduct patrols in public spaces.

Street children and homeless people often work around the Maluku City Mall (MCM) shopping center and occupy locations under the red and white bridge to live in.

"Since early February we have disciplined dozens of homeless people, beggars and street children, they have been given guidance, and signed a statement that they no longer use locations that are public facilities to live in," he said.

His party does not tolerate the presence of homeless people, beggars and street children who are active in public spaces. Even if someone is caught in a raid two to three times, they can be sent back to their area of origin.

"Another effort is being made to return them to their area of origin, because most of those who are active come from Southeast Sulawesi," he said.

He stated that his party was trying to get Ambon free from homeless people, beggars and street children.

"Those who were caught in the raid repeatedly and after being examined, it turned out that we are not residents of Ambon City, we will send them home," he said.
