Kualanamu Airport Welcoming F1 Powerboat

JAKARTA - The North Sumatra Provincial Government has optimally prepared Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, to welcome the committee and participants of the international scale championship of fast boat or F1 Powerboat in Lake Toba, Prapat, on February 24-26 2023.

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi, Acham Rifai said that his party would make preparations by preparing VIP Room Holding, an area for the crew and delegates to use.

He continued, Kualanamu International Airport also prepared ground handling to help the participants to collect baggage, as well as prepare a pick-up car that had been prepared by the committee in the VIP area to go to the F1H20 location.

"This is the first time Indonesia has hosted it, even though Kualanamu Airport is not the main airport for the F1H20 delegation, PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi fully supports it by preparing it," he said, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, February 15.

Kualanamu International Airport is also preparing service users for people who want to know more about information related to F1H20 and prepare Booth F1H20 and the participants will later be greeted by dances typical of North Sumatra.

"The excitement of the F1H20 delegation will be welcomed by a regional dance from North Sumatra to welcome guests from outside the region as well as a typical cultural arts show from North Sumatra which will coordinate with the North Sumatra and Deli Serdang Tourism Offices and involve the local community," he said.

Achmad Rifai also revealed that Kualanamu International Airport plays an active role in the success of major activities carried out in North Sumatra,

"It is proud that Kualanamu International Airport plays an active role in the excitement of large national-scale events such as a series of 2023 HPN activities and international-scale activities, namely F1H20, which will take place in several cities in North Sumatra.
