Pinangki: Joko Tjandra Wants To Return To RI Because He Is No Longer Supported By The Malaysian Government
JAKARTA - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari said the reason Joko Tjandra wanted to return to Indonesia was because he no longer received support from the Malaysian government. Pinangki recognized Joko Tjandra's desire to return home from Rahmat's narrative.
This information became known when the public prosecutor asked about the reason why Pinangki met Joko Tjandra despite knowing that Joko Tjandra was a fugitive.
"Why did you, along with Rahmat and Anita Kolopaking, still go to Malaysia, even though the defendant is a prosecutor and knows Joko Tjandra's status as a fugitive ?," KMS Roni asked in a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 6.
Pinangki admitted that he still planned to meet Joko Tjandra because Rahmat asked him to. Rahmat said that Joko Tjandra wanted to surrender.
