Residents Of Cawang Geger, Black Smoke Appears From Residents' Homes In Densely Populated Settlements

JAKARTA - A number of residents in the alley of Arus, RT 08/02, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta suddenly panicked when they saw a thick black smoke emerging from the house of a resident on Monday, February 13. Worried that the fire had spread to another house, residents immediately reported to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. "We received a fire report at 13.00 WIB from a resident. We have deployed 5 fire engines with 25 personnel to the location," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman in his statement. The extinguishing process was carried out at around 13.14 WIB and had been localized by firefighters at the location at 13.21 WIB. "The fire object status has been turned yellow and officers at the location are still localizing the fire," he said.
