Policeringkus 3 Armed Youth Sharp During A Brawl In Palmerah
JAKARTA - Three teenagers could only surrender when they were secured by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Patrol Team when they were about to stage a brawl on Jalan Kyai H Syahdan, Palmerah, West Jakarta, early Sunday, February 12. The police confiscated 2 sickle blades from the hands of the perpetrators.
West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta Kompol Arief Budiharso said the teenager was successfully secured around the Palmerah area. The arrest of the teenager was based on complaints from the public through a precision team callcenter.
"We immediately followed up on the information report. As a result, when the team arrived, they said they were trying to save themselves from the officers," he said when confirmed, Sunday, February 12.
The public report informed the existence of a brawl to the precision team. Then go to the scene of the incident.
"There was a group of teenagers fighting and carrying machetes," he said.
When the officers arrived, the teenagers ran out of breath. Some of them even threw away the knife.
"The evidence of a knife type of 2 sickles was successfully secured," he said.
The students along with evidence of sharp weapons were then taken to the Palmerah Police Headquarters.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Palmerah Police, Kompol Dodi Abdulrohim, confirmed the handover of teenagers by the Pioneer Patrol Team. Currently, the 3 teenagers are still under in-depth examination by investigators.
"We accept the handover of teenagers who are suspected of carrying out brawls," he added.
