Wife Shouted At, Head Of Village Head In Bulukumba South Sulawesi Participated In The Ganging Of 2 People
BULUKUMBA - The village head in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) with the initials H was arrested by the police. The village head is suspected of bringing the crowd to gang up on two residents with the initials Ar and S.
"We have arrested the village head. Two of the victims were attacked," said Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kompol Supriyanto, contacted by VOI, Tuesday, January 5.
This persecution took place on Tuesday 8 December. The location of the incident was in Ballampesoang Village, Bulukumba.
This incident occurred when the wife of the village head allegedly shouted at a group of people. This misunderstanding led to persecution.
"At first it was a misunderstanding, the village head did not want to immediately intend, to gang up at the beginning. At the location there was a group of residents gathering, because it was just before the election for the Regent of Bulukumba, the information was that the village head's wife wanted to pass, (then) he said. (This is a statement. ) the village head's version, "said Kompol Suprianto.
The village head's wife did not accept the treatment by a group of people. She reported it to her husband until the head of the village told people to check the scene.
"Because his friend had not returned for a long time, the head of the village followed along with his friend again. When he got there, there was a debate, because the village head asked, who did my wife believe ?," continued Suprianto.
At the location, the village head did not find the person who had shouted at his wife. The situation heats up until victims Ar and S try to calm down.
But both of them were beaten by the village head and two other people.
"The people there answered that no one shouted at our wife, sir, the village. There were noisy arguments, eventually persecution occurred," he said.
There were 5 suspects of persecution including the village head. Two suspects are still being hunted by the police.
"We have already detained 3 people," said Police Commissioner Suprianto.
