JAKARTA - A boy with the initials ANS (12) was found dead from electrocution in Cimanggu City Hill, Mekarwangi Village, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City on Friday, February 10.

Residents of Pabuaran Village, RT 02/02, Mekarwangi Village, Tanahsareal District, Bogor City were electrocuted while playing football.

The head of the Tanahsareal Police, Kompol Surya, said that the electrocuted incident was reported to have occurred at around 16:00 WIB.

At the time of the incident, the victim was found to be playing ball in the courtyard of the Jami Al Muhajirin mosque, Bukit Cimanggu City, along with his colleagues.

Then, suddenly it rained at that location and made the victim and his partner immediately run for shelter.

"At that time the victim sat holding an iron pole with an electric buffer connected from the patrol post belonging to the residents of Block V7," said Kompol Surya confirmed, Saturday, February 11.

Unexpectedly, continued Kompol Surya, the pole support held by the victim was an electric current and immediately stung the victim instantly.

Then, residents around the location heard shouting from the victim's friends and saw that this boy was already in a state of convulsion.

After that, continued Kompol Surya, found the victim lying down, residents immediately took the victim to the Ronda Post and took him to the Mekarwangi Health Center for medical treatment.

"However, according to the Mekarwangi Health Center, the victim is already dead," said Kompol Surya.

Meanwhile, he said, the police officers who received the report immediately went to the scene, and took the statements of the witnesses.

"The crime scene has been processed and secured evidence in the form of t-shirts and black balls," said Kompol Surya.

Kompol Surya added, the victim is the third of three children and has been orphaned.

"The victim's family objected to being taken to the hospital and has made a statement of objection to an autopsy on the victim's body," he said.
