Chacha Sherly In The Eyes Of The Tiger Trio Founder: Humorous But Actually Quiet
JAKARTA - Former member of the Trio Macan, Chacha Sherly, died today due to an accident. His figure is still clearly remembered in the eyes of the founder of the dangdut music group, Agi Sugiyanto.
Agi said he received news about Chacha's departure today, after previously knowing that he had an accident at the Semarang-Solo toll road KM 438, Semarang Regency, Central Java on Monday, December 4.
"He has left us, his life cannot be helped, (hopefully) his sins will be forgiven. The family who has been left will be given courage," Agi told reporters, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 5.
Agi has known Chacha since 12 years ago, when the dangdut singer first came to him to fill the position in Trio Macan.
"For 12 years together, of course we have been through joys, sorrows, and many things until two months before the contract expires, namely in October 2019, he came to me crying because he felt he would soon leave the group that had raised him," said Agi.
For Agi, Chacha is a humorous figure even though he actually has a quiet impression. Chacha's voice is considered unique and distinctive.
"High spontaneity and he has his own color, he has a distinctive vocals. When he said goodbye to leave the Trio Macan because his contract expired, we still often meet and communicate," said Agi.
Chacha Sherly died on Tuesday, January 5 after undergoing treatment at the Unggaran Hospital after experiencing an accident.
