JAKARTA - A fight between two men took place in the Kenari Market area, Senen, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 5. As a result of the fight, the man with the initials SN had to lose his hand because the perpetrator cut him.

"That was persecution by means of stabbing," said Head of Criminal Investigation of Senen Police, AKP Bambang to VOI, Tuesday, January 5.

Based on a temporary investigation, the dispute that went viral on social media was triggered by debt problems. SN is said to have a debt to the perpetrator. However, the amount of the debt is not yet known.

It's just that, these debts make the two of them a fist fight. Until finally SN was struck with a sharp weapon until his hand broke off.

"It happened earlier, around 10.30 WIB," he said.

In addition, Kasat Reskrim, Central Jakarta Police AKBP Burhanuddin said that his party had identified the suspected perpetrator. Because based on the examination of witnesses, the perpetrators were residents around the scene.

But he was reluctant to mention the identity of the suspect. So far, police officers are still hunting for his whereabouts.

"The perpetrator is still in pursuit, so now it has been identified that we just need to secure it," he said.
