Selling Drugs In The Rural Area, Farmers In South Kalimantan Arrested By Police
BANJARMASIN - South Kalimantan Police managed to arrest a farmer who was distributing methamphetamine in rural areas, Banjar Regency."The suspect with the initials RS (44) is an active farmer who was arrested with evidence of one package of methamphetamine weighing 101.11 grams," said Head of Sub-Directorate III of the South Kalimantan Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate AKBP Jupri Tampubolon in Banjarmasin, Antara, Friday, February 10.The suspect's illicit business of selling methamphetamine was caught after the police received information that drug trafficking often occurred in rural areas.Then the Opsnal Team of Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police conducted an in-depth investigation to spy on the movements of the suspected person.As a result, last Tuesday, the police received information about a planned transaction carried out by the hospital around the Ulin Landasan area, Banjarbaru heading towards Mataraman Village, Banjar Regency.After a motorcycle was followed, the perpetrator was finally ambushed on Jalan Karang Anyar I, Banjarbaru and methamphetamine were found in the suspect's right-hand motorcycle box.Jupri admitted that the methamphetamine brought by the suspect was planned to be circulated with small packages, one of which was a rural area in Banjar Regency."We remind the public to jointly prevent drug abuse and trafficking which has now spread to villages by proactively providing information to the police so that they can immediately be followed up," he said representing the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol Tri Wahyudi.
