Remove Password Usage, 1Password Is Login With Passkeys
JAKARTA - Every day, credential-based cyber attacks are growing. In fact, 1Password notes that in 2022 alone, rarely a month has passed without the attack.
Instead of still playing with passwords, 1Password finally announced the launch of a new feature to its platform to create, manage and use this year's password or passwords.
Passkeys are a modern alternative to passwords. Passkeys are easier to use, harder to steal or hack, and built on proven open standards designed to make apps faster and safer.

"So we are very happy to announce that, starting this summer, you will have the option to create and unlock a 1Password account using just passes! No password is required," said 1Password Chief Product Officer Steve Wan.
Launched since 2006, 1Password has become an iOS third-party password storage application that first introduced the Touch ID feature in 2014. Then the company added Face ID, Windows Hello, and Android Fingerprint supports afterwards.
Now, 1Password goes even further by presenting the ability to enter 1Password, unlock the safe, and access your data safely is one of your passes.
To use passwords (passkeys) you need devices like mobile phones or PCs that are registered with apps or services and second authentication steps you do, most likely facial biometric scanning or your fingerprints.
