JAKARTA - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) received a list of requests for assistance needed by earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
Acting Head of the BNPB Disaster Data and Information Center Abdul Muhari hoped that the Indonesian people would pay attention to the list if they wanted to provide assistance.
"We have received a list of needs, urgent devices to help affected residents in Turkey and Syria such as mattresses, warm blankets, winter clothes and shoes, food packages, hygiene kits, soap, pampers for adults, elderly, and children, medicines, medical devices, solar lights, family tents, rubble scrapers, first aid kits, and generators," Abdul said as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 9.
Abdul said these tools were prioritized to be collected as assistance for the citizens of the country.
"So if there are members of the public who are then called on to be able to ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who are affected in Turkey and Syria, we urge them to be able to pay attention to the need for a list of items that are urgently needed, as previously conveyed," he said.
