Nella Regar Kembali Ke Dunia Musik, Berhilahi Lagu Januari YANG Biru

JAKARTA - The old January Blue song marks the return of singer Nella Regar to the music world in the country after 25 years of receding from the world of singing.

The song by Dadang S Manaf, which was popularized by singer Andi Meriem Mattalatta, was brought by Nella Regar in a duet with a Henri Ch entrepreneur in a new version to be adapted to today's music market.

Nella Regar in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday said that at first she felt less confident when Henry Ch offered a Blue January song to perform a duet.

"Actually, there are some producers who offered me to return to singing, but I always refuse because of my indecency to sing again," said the Batak-blooded singer whose full name is Nella Nurillah Siregar, quoted by Antara, Friday.

However, the singer who often had duets with Rano Karno in the 80s-90s admitted that he could not refuse when Henry Ch was a culinary entrepreneur and Youtuber offered to return to the recording kitchen at the end of 2022.

Meanwhile, Henry Ch added that even though he had left singing for 25 years, Nella Regar's voice was still nice to listen to, especially since it was confirmed by Dadang S Manaf as the songwriter for January Yang Biru.

He said, to produce a January single, Biru involved singer Ucie Nurul, Elfas Singer's personnel as vocal director and supporting singer.

"The recording process with the help of Ucie runs very fast, relaxed without any previous training. From recordings to mixing mastering, it only takes 3 hours. Then continue the process for Digital Store, video clips and others," he said.

However, it took 12 days to complete the single, which was then agreed on January 27 the music video aired on "Henry & Youtube".

Meanwhile, Dadang S Manaf added that the song January Yang Biru is not easy to sing by singers other than Andi Meriem Matalatta.

"But when I was told to hear Henry's recording, I was shocked. How come Nella's voice is the same as Andi Meriem Mattalatta. Honestly, I am satisfied with Nella and Henry's duet performing the song January Yang Biru," said the musician who performed many hit songs.
