Ahead Of Blue Concert Comeback Presenter In Jakarta, Indra Bekti Jalani Operations Again

JAKARTA - Indra Bekti again underwent surgery at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) today, Thursday, February 9, 2023. This time this is the fourth operation the 45-year-old presenter has undergone since experiencing a brain hemorrhage at the end of last year.

The operation carried out by Bekti this time was aimed at removing the fluid in his eyes which had a bad impact on the presenter's vision.

"Yes, that's right (To undergo surgery today). Now it's in the action room," said Cipta, Indra Bekti's younger brother when contacted by the VOI team on Thursday, February 9 afternoon.

Previously, Cipta also talked about the possibility of her brother appearing at the British boy band concert, Blue in Jakarta which coincided with Valentine's heart, February 14, 2023.

He said Bekti's involvement would still depend on the development of his condition after the next five days of surgery. "When the opening (blue concert) event is open, hopefully, Bang Indra will be able to. But after all, if there are obstacles, the organizers will know from the start," said Cipta.

"We have had an agreement from the start that whatever it is, we will see from Bang Indra's health. If he can't or there are obstacles, yes, I'm sorry we can't continue. And the organizers understand that," he continued.

Cipta also tried to clarify that Indra Bekti's involvement in the Blue concert was not part of his professional master of ceremonies (MC) work. Defenders were invited by the concert organizers who happened to be friends with the presenter. And the invitation to Bekti was part of his friend's appreciation for Bekti's return from the hospital.

"We just want to let the public know that Indra Bekti is healthy, has returned, has not changed and still has the ability to present an event," concluded Indra Bekti's younger brother.
