Getting The COVID-19 Vaccine Authorization In Israel, This Is Moderna's Target
JAKARTA - The Israeli government, through the Ministry of Health, has authorized the use of the COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna Inc., a drug manufacturer from the United States. This will be Moderna's third, after previously in the United States and Canada.
"The Israeli Ministry of Health has received 6 million doses of the vaccine and the first deliveries are expected to start in January (2021)," Moderna wrote in a statement as quoted by Reuters by Koreatimes.
It is known, Israel has started vaccination measures against citizens classified as vulnerable since December 19, 2020 and finished at the end of January. Israel uses vaccines developed by Pfizer and BionTech.

Moderna itself stated on Monday 4 January that they had produced around 600 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. This figure is up 100 million doses from the previous estimate. Meanwhile, Moderna's target is to reach 1 billion vaccine doses this year.
