The DKI Transportation Agency Has Expressed The Cause Of Distribution At JIS After The Dewa Concert 19
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, explained the cause of the chaotic traffic around the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) after the Dewa 19 concert on Saturday, February 4.
Syafrin said that currently there is a narrowing of the width of the road around JIS. Among them is the construction of the Harbor Road II Toll Road on Jalan RE Martadinata or on the north side of the stadium.
"Currently on Jalan RE Martaadinata, there is the construction of the Harbour II toll road. There, previously there were only 2 (run) co-opted lanes. In fact, when a bus was passing, there was only 1 lane, so there was a queue. Therefore, the density is quite high," said Syafrin at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, February 8.
In addition, there is also work on repairing the Dj side roads of Jalan Danau Sunter Barat and Jalan Sunter Permai Raya, North Jakarta. So, according to him, the condition of the road network in the JIS area is not as ideal as normal conditions.
Syafrin also claimed that his party had deployed a number of officers to help smooth traffic during the dispersal of the Dewa 19 concert.
However, the volume of the concert audience's movement that came out at the same time plus narrowing the road at that time resulted in unavoidable traffic jams.
"With the massive number of people watching, then also the road network is not ideal because there is development, then the combination will definitely be stuck," he said.
The 30 Years of Dewa 19 People's Party concert at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, February 4 yesterday became an incident that was hard to forget by the audience. Behind the majestic appearance of Dewa 19 which was held in this international-class stadium, it turned out that there were many complaints. Complaints from the 30-year Dewa 19 concert audience were widely expressed on social media. The netizen's most complaints were about the poor access to the mobility of visitors in and out of the stadium. During the concert, a number of spectators who had tickets in the stands area did not get seats. The audience also complained about the quality of the sound system that was not optimal to the upper tribune area. When the concert was completed on Sunday, February 5 at around 00.00 WIB, the audience began to leave the stadium. Given the absence of parking bags inside the JIS area, there were other parking access in the Ancol area and JIExpo Kemayoran. To support access to these two parking locations, there was also a shuttle bus from JIS towards the external parking location. The problem is also the problem, the narrow road section in front of JIS, Jalan Sunter Permai Raya and its surroundings makes traffic jams unavoidable. The traffic flow of vehicles parked around the JIS area is stuck to get out of the area, including shuttle buses that take the audience to the parking location.SPECTors who tried to order online motorcycle taxis, instead of waiting for the arrival of the next shuttle bus, were repeatedly unsuccessful. Many of the audiences also decided to walk a few kilometers from JIS and external parking locations.
