The Ministry Of Finance Has Allocated IDR 396 Trillion For The 2023 DAU
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has allocated IDR 396 trillion for the General Allocation Fund (DAU) in 2023.
Director General of Fiscal Balance Luky Alfirman in the DGTK Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission XI of the DPR RI, quoted from Antara in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 8, explained that the value was divided into a DAU, not determined to use it at IDR 286.76 trillion and the DAU was determined to use it at IDR 109.23 trillion.
DAU determined its use, his party divided it for the allocation of the education sector of Rp40.06 trillion and the health sector of Rp26.03 trillion.
In addition, the field of public work is IDR 15.72 trillion and the field of payroll for the formation of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) is IDR 25.74 trillion, and the rest is to support village funding.
In the context of implementing the DAU in 2023, he explained that two financial ministerial regulations had been issued through PMK Number 211/PMK.07/2022 and PMK Number 212/PMK.07/2022.
He conveyed that the DAU policy was based on the unit of costs, service targets, potential income and regional characteristics, and considering the basic needs of regional government administration.
Regarding regional characteristics, he explained that including population, area, construction expensive index, archipelagic characteristics, tourism, food security and forest conservation.
"The policy of the DAU formula is to increase regional financial equality and encourage increased Regional Original Income (PAD)," said Luky.
His party revealed that the distribution of DAU throughout 2022 reached IDR 378.0 trillion, an increase of 0.1 percent yoy, from the previous IDR 377.8 trillion in 2021.
In addition, his party reported that the distribution of Transfer funds to Regions (TKD) reached IDR 816.2 trillion in 2022, or an increase of 3.9 percent year on year (yoy) compared to IDR 785.7 trillion in 2021.
