Juventus Defender Alex Sandro 'Stung' COVID-19
JAKARTA - Juventus defender Alex Sandro has tested positive for COVID-19, the club confirmed on its official website.
"Juventus Football Club announces that, following the appearance of mild symptoms, a test of player Alex Sandro has been tested, which has revealed that he is positive for COVID-19," read an official Juve statement on Monday,
"The player has undergone isolation. The club has contacted the Health Authorities to decide on the effective implementation of the necessary protocols for the conduct of training and team competition activities."
Alex Sandro played 83 minutes during Juventus' 4-1 win over Udinese at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Before the Brazilian was confirmed with COVID-19, several other Juve players had also been infected and have now recovered, as experienced by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Argentina striker Paulo Dybala and young AS Weston McKennie.
The Bianconerri will visit the headquarters of leaders AC Milan on Wednesday, January 6.
