JAKARTA - MMA fighter from Indonesia, Jeka Saragih, apologized after the defeat in the final match of Road to UFC on Sunday, February 5. Not only that, but Jeka also mentioned the blasphemy that came to him.
Appearing at UFC Apex, Las Vegas, United States, Jeka must recognize the superiority of the Indian fighter, Anshul Jubil. He fell through TKO in the second round.
"First of all, I apologize to all of you, which disappointed me because of my match yesterday," said Jeka Saragih in a video uploaded on his personal YouTube quoted on Wednesday, February 8.
Even though in the end he had to let go of his dream of appearing in the UFC, Jeka Saragih did not want to give up. He promised to perform even better for his supporters.
"But I promise to give my best for the next match and for my loyal friends to support me, continue to support me and wish me luck I can give my best," continued Jeka.
In the video, Jeka Saragih also mentioned the blasphemy leveled at him. The fighter from North Sumatra responded positively and helped make it a motivation.
"And for my friends who blaspheme, I also thank you, hopefully your blasphemy can be the biggest whip that can spur me to train to get to the upcoming matches," said Jeka Saragih.
