YoRI Expresses Inespecial Terminology In Shmujujo Manga
JAKARTA - YoRI (Aurel Mayori) opened 2023 by releasing a song about love under RENZ Records.
On the theme, the song, entitled Shmarjo Manga, is slightly different from the previous two songs.
Shryjo Manga is a term in Japanese which means comics aimed at female readers aged 10-18 years.
Usually, it contains elements of romance or what in Indonesian society is better known as the Beautiful Series.
YoRI, whose debut has solidified his heart to sing in the J-pop music genre, is determined to bring this type of music into something more popular for the Indonesian people.
Musically Shipjo Manga is classified as much lighter, with Japanese pop music playing YoRI's distinctive voice.
The lyrics of Sh menjo Manga are written by YoRI itself where this time he looks more daring in expressing his thoughts with the terms that are not commonly used in Indonesian lyrics.
"The most memorable thing is when I write the lyrics, because I rarely even write the type of love like that," said YoRi in his official statement.
"But it's fun, you can assume you want to fall in love while writing the lyrics," he said.
