Budget For COVID-19 Vaccine IDR 1.65 Trillion, DKI: Cost Of Officers To Supporting Facilities

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared a budget of IDR 1.65 trillion for the implementation of vaccinations this year. This budget is taken from the DKI Regional Budget for the 2021 fiscal year.

Vaccine bulk / concentrate to be injected into the public is indeed free of charge by the central government. However, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that there is an implementation fee that will be required for the vaccination process.

Currently, the technical implementation of vaccines and operational costs is still being compiled by the DKI Health Office.

"The Health Office will arrange the details. What is clear is that in vaccination there is a fee for officers, supporting facilities and infrastructure, right? Not to mention that the officers must use complete personal protective equipment," said Riza at City Hall, Monday, January 4. .

Today, DKI has received delivery of around 39,200 doses of Sinovac vaccine from PT Bio Farma. the distribution of the first phase vaccine was sent twice. Subsequent shipments will be received of 80,840 doses of vaccine.

In total, the dose of the first phase vaccine received by DKI was 120,040. The target recipients of the first phase vaccine in DKI are 119,145 people.

Riza said that the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government were able to inject 20 thousand COVID-19 vaccines per day when they received injection permits.

Currently, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared 453 health facilities for the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination.

"The DKI Provincial Government has prepared 453 health facilities to implement COVID-19 vaccination along with medical doctors, nurses and midwives as vaccinators. The injection capacity is 20,473 people per day," said Riza.

Riza targets that the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination in the Capital City will be carried out around the second and third weeks of January 2021.

"The target is top down from the central government, using various data sources from the Ministry of Health, Disdukcapil, BPJS Health, BPJS and Employment," said Riza.

Previously reported, the DKI DPRD approved a budget of IDR 3.2 trillion specifically for COVID-19 vaccination and cash social assistance (bansos) in 2021 that was proposed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

"The budget of Rp. 3.2 trillion from unexpected expenditure (BTT) in the 2021 APBD has been approved by the DKI DPRD to be allocated for handling the COVID-19 pandemic," said DKI DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi.

In detail, the BTT budget of Rp 1.65 trillion is allocated for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination which will be held by the Health Office.

Meanwhile, a budget of IDR 1.55 trillion will be used for the implementation of direct cash assistance to residents affected by the pandemic which will be implemented by the Social Service.
