Densus 88 Captures Suspects Of JI Network Terrorists In Lampung, His Roles Are Fugitive

Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested a terrorist suspect with the initials AF in the East Abung area, North Lampung. He is a network of Jemaah Islamiyah (JI).

"The suspect is a member of the Jemaah Islamiyah," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Tuesday, February 7.

The terrorist suspect was arrested at his home on February 7 at around 05.00 WIB.

Based on the crime record, the FA suspect played a role in hiding two fugitives in terrorism cases in October and November 2020.

"Following part in the process of hiding JI DPOs against Suwarno alias Mario alias Hafidz in November 2020 and Ahmas Supriyadi in October 2020," he said.

In addition, Densus 88 also confiscated some of the evidence in the arrest. For example, books related to radicalism.
