Arriving At The Golkar Office, PKS: Ordinary Gathering
JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) visited the Golkar Party's DPP Office today, Tuesday, January 7. They said this meeting was only aimed at friendship.
According to VOI monitoring, it appears that PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Al-Habsyi, PKS DPP chairman Al Muzzammil Yusuf, and his entourage. They were welcomed by the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Ahmad Doli Kurnia and other party officials.
While entering the office lobby, Habib said this meeting was just an ordinary gathering.
"The usual gathering is in order to make the atmosphere more conducive," Aboe told reporters at the Golkar Party DPP, Slipi, West Jakarta.
Furthermore, the elite political parties went up to the third floor. The meeting was held behind closed doors.
Similarly, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, who was present, said that this meeting was a form of friendship. Meanwhile, when asked about the couple in the 2024 presidential election, he said, his party is currently joining the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) with PPP and PAN.
"Yes, right, we have a United Indonesia Coalition," said the Coordinating Minister for the Economy.
Previously, member of the Syura Council of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Tifatul Sembiring asked for his party's meeting with the Golkar Party today, Tuesday, February 7, not to be interpreted as various things. He asked for this visit not to be suspected.
"Regarding inter-party visits, please, don't be suspected or all kinds of things, or suudzon. People want to visit has been judged," Tifatul told reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 7.
Tifatul actually assessed that meetings between parties, such as PKS and Golkar, could cool the political atmosphere. "Don't be questioned what that means, what does this mean? Yes, we connect each other's hearts," he said.
"So I think it's good between political parties to visit each other to reduce the potential for division between the nation and this country. Because the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has many differences," continued Tifatul.
