DKI Claims To Be Capable Of Injecting The COVID-19 Vaccine At 20 Thousand People Per Day

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government are able to inject 20 thousand COVID-19 vaccines per day when the injection permit is obtained.

Currently, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared 453 officers for the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination which has been distributed from PT Bio Farma.

"The DKI Provincial Government has prepared 453 implementers of COVID-19 vaccination along with medical doctors, nurses and midwives as vaccinators. The injection capacity is 20,473 people per day," Riza told reporters, Monday, January 4.

Riza targets that the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination in the Capital City will be carried out around the second and third weeks of January 2021.

Today, DKI has received delivery of around 39,200 doses of Sinovac vaccine from PT Bio Farma. the distribution of the first phase vaccine was sent twice. Subsequent shipments will receive 80,850 doses of vaccine.

In total, the doses of the first phase vaccine received by DKI were 120,500. The target recipients of the first phase vaccine in DKI are 119,145 people.

"The target is top down from the central government, using various data sources from the Ministry of Health, Disdukcapil, BPJS Health, BPJS and Employment," said Riza.

The target criteria for the first stage of the COVID-19 vaccination in DKI are health workers, assistant health workers, support staff, and students who are currently undergoing medical professional education who work in health service facilities.

Registration and verification of targets is carried out using a similar mechanism in each region. Initially, the vaccination target recipients will receive a notification / notification via SMS Blast with the sender ID "PEDULICOVID".

Furthermore, the target will re-register to choose a place and service schedule via SMS 1199, UMB * 119 #, the Pedulil Protected application, the pedulilindung.id web or through the local Babinsa / Babinkamtibmas.

The data of the targets who do not have cell phones will be compiled for verification by Babinsa / Babinkamtibmas by involving the Lurah, Head of Hamlet, Head of RT / RW and the local Puskesmas.

Then, for re-registration, it also includes verification efforts by answering questions that will be asked by the system to confirm domicile as well as simple self-screening of the comorbidities suffered.

Verification for targets who do not re-register will be carried out by Babinsa / Babinkamtibmas involving the Lurah, Head of Hamlet, Head of RT / RW and the local Puskesmas.

After the target has verified, the target chooses the location and schedule of vaccination. Furthermore, the COVID-19 Vaccination One Data Information System will send an electronic ticket as an invitation to each of the verified COVID-19 vaccine target recipients.

Then, a service schedule reminder will be sent by the system via SMS or the PeduliLindung application to the target.
