Bekasi Regency Government Allocates Funds Of IDR 571 Billion For Repair Of 107 Kilometers Of Roads
BeKASI - Acting (Pj) Bekasi Regent, Dani Ramdan said, his party hopes to repair hundreds of kilometers of roads in 2013.
The budget has been allocated so that improvements can be much longer than last year which was only 42 kilometers long.
"We have allocated a budget for this development almost double last year by carrying out budget efficiency in other regional apparatus, we will cut the budget in nature and divert it," said Dani, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, February 4.
The Bekasi Regency Government repaired a total length of 107 kilometers with a financing allocation of IDR 571 billion. The funds used are sourced from the 2023 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
"The budget is for construction, improvement, and road maintenance. The rest is maintenance of bridges and water resources," said Head of the Bekasi Regency Water Resources, Highways and Construction Agency Henri Lincoln.
He explained that this year's road repair work was focused on a number of priority points, including the Cikarang Bekasi Laut (CBL) Road Section in Cibitung District, Kalimalang Street, North Tambun towards exit of toll gates, Warung Bongkok, and Babelan.
"For CBL, there are two roads, Pulo Puter-Cibitung and Cibitung-Cikarang. The length of the CBL road is approximately 11.9 kilometers and we have only handled 1.2 kilometers in 2022 and this year is 3.3 kilometers," he said.
Henri said, there was an increase in the number of road infrastructure work in his area this year compared to similar work in 2022.
Last year, his party was only able to complete 42 kilometers of costs worth IDR 331 billion.
"This is proof that the local government continues to focus on improving infrastructure which is a development priority even with its budget constraints," he continued.
