Police Free 31 Students From Various Schools Involved In Brawls In Kemayoran
A total of 31 students who were arrested by the police for a brawl in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, were finally released. Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said that a total of 31 students came from junior high, high school and vocational schools from 9 schools involved in the brawl.
"We return all of this to his parents," said Kombes Komarudin, Friday, February 3.
The police chief said that the students came from SMP 228, there were 3 students, SMP 10 there were 16 students, SMA 10 there were 1 student, SMK 92 there were 1 student, Taman Siswa (Tamsis) 4 students, SMK 54 there were 1 student, SMK Poncol 1 student, SMK Gita Kirti there was 1 student and SMK 1 there was 1 student.
"Today they were all picked up by their parents. They made an agreement on stamp duty with the contents that they would not repeat their actions again. If later caught doing the same thing, the student will be included in the realm of law as a Child Faced by Law (ABH)," he said.
Kombes Komarudin said the status of the 31 students could be raised to become children in conflict with the law (ABH) if the police investigation found new evidence. Meanwhile, it is known that the knife found was not in the hands of the student.
"So when it is secured, the knife has been thrown away by students. Currently, we are also conducting CCTV checks, if later there is a recording of the student carrying a knife, we will continue and become a ABH student status," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Team arrested 31 teenagers for allegedly planning to fight. A number of sharp weapons (sajam) of the type of sickle and iron ruler were also confiscated as evidence.
"We secured these teenagers when they gathered and when approached by a number of teenagers, they fled. We also pursued the teenagers," said Patrol Team Head Ipda Heri Priyatmoko when contacted, Friday, February 3.
