After Leaving Sana Here, Arema FC Finally Got A Kand Again

JAKARTA Arema FC has finally used the Police Science Stadium (PTIK) in Jakarta as a home for the second round of Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023.

Commissioner of PT Arema Aremania Bersatu Berkpresasi Indonesia (PT AABBI) Tatang Dwi Arifianto ensured that the decision was in accordance with a letter from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB).

"The letter from the LIB has been received, Arema FC will undergo a match at the PTIK Stadium for the continuation of the 2022-2023 Liga 1 competition," Tatang said in Malang, East Java, Friday, February 3, 2023, as reported by Antara.

Arema will play the home match at the PTIK Stadium in the 22nd week of Saturday, February 4 tomorrow. They will be challenged by the third-ranked team in the Liga 1 standings, PSM Makassar.

It is certain that the match will not be attended by Arema spectators or supporters. Tatang hopes that the match can run smoothly.

He also wants the team to get maximum results to improve their position on the standings board.

"Hopefully the match will run smoothly. We hope that Aremania's prayers, hopefully the Singo Edan team will achieve maximum results," he said.

As is known, the sanctions from the Disciplinary Committee after the tragedy of Kanjuruhan which claimed 135 lives last October made the club nicknamed Singo Edan adrift.

They can't play at home. While while looking for another stadium to be used as headquarters, there were objections from several parties.

Referring to Article 69 Paragraph 1, Paragraph 2 and Paragraph 3 of the 2018 PSSI Disciplinary Code, Arema FC must play a home match within a minimum distance of 250 kilometers from headquarters until the end of the competition season. In addition, they were also given a fine of Rp250.

Currently Arema is still filling the ninth position in the standings with a collection of 26 points. It was the result of eight wins, two draws, and nine defeats.
