Three Land And Building Assets In South Jakarta Owned By Nazaruddin Auctioned By The KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has auctioned off three plots of land and buildings belonging to former Democratic Party Treasurer Muhammad Nazaruddin.
Acting KPK spokesman for the field of prosecution Ali Fikri said this auction was held to provide income for the state in order to recover assets.
"As an effort to continue to provide income to the state through recovering assets from the proceeds of corruption, the KPK will conduct an auction of booty without the attendance of participants," Ali said in his statement to reporters, Monday, January 4.
The three assets belonging to Nazarudin to be auctioned are one plot of land and a building on Jalan Abdullah Syafii, South Jakarta, covering an area of 187 square meters and 123 square meters with a limit price of Rp. 14.3 billion and a guarantee deposit of Rp. 3 billion.
Second, a 120 square meter plot of land and building in the Attorney General's Office Complex, Pasar Minggu, with a limit price of Rp 2.06 billion and a security deposit of Rp 415 million. Finally, land and buildings on Jalan Samali Ujung Kompleks LAN, Pasar Minggu, covering an area of 127 square meters with a limir price of Rp. 1.9 billion and a security deposit of Rp. 400 million.
Ali said that the auction will be conducted under a close bidding system on Tuesday, January 26. The implementation will also use the Internet Auction Application or can be accessed through www.lelang.go.id through the Jakarta III State Wealth and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).
"Regarding the determination of the winner will be announced after the deadline for the offer," he said.
There is also an auction for the execution of this booty based on the Corruption Court Decision at the Central Jakarta District Court Number: 159 / Pid.Sus / TPK / 2015 / PN.Jkt.Pst dated 15 June 2016.
For information, Nazaruddin was found guilty in the corruption case for the construction of the Athlete's House as well as the case for receiving gratuities and money laundering.
In the Wisma Atlet corruption case, the Supreme Court sentenced Nazaruddin to 7 years in prison and a fine of IDR 300 million. Meanwhile, in the case of gratification and money laundering, Nazaruddin was sentenced to 6 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion.
