Review Of Babylon Film: Fun Hollywood Chaos

JAKARTA - Director total Chazelle presents his latest film, Babylon, which finally arrived in Indonesia this year. Starring a series of top actors, this film captures the beauty and riots of Hollywood films starting in the 1920s.

Since the teaser until the trailer is released, Babylon has been confirmed to be a beautiful chaos film. Justin Hurwitz's visual fan and music playing supports the beauty of a film that is quite long.

Babylon also bagged a number of wins and nominations in various awards, ranging from Academy Awards, Screen Guild, Critics Choice, to Golden Globes.

Babylon focuses on Manny Torres (Diego Calva), a Mexican immigrant who works to escort elephants as entertainment in various places. He dreams of getting a place in Hollywood and working in a world of film that is certainly difficult to deliver.

On his way, Manny meets Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie), a woman who claims to be a star from New Jersey. Manny fell in love even more when he saw Nellie succeed with her acting in silent films.

Once upon a time, Manny, who was working, was asked to take Jack life (Brad Pitt) home. It turned out that Jack

Nellie is increasingly popular with her film, which is popular with the audience, as well as Manny Torres who had the opportunity to learn camera engineering. Manny has a stable job to Jack target who enjoys living as a big star.

Babylon has a long duration with a volatile storyline. The series of scenes, expressions, conflicts, combined with vulgar visuals as well as beautiful make this film leave a good and confusing impression.

Chazelle also deliberately added years as a team for viewers to see the development of the story. At least viewers saw three points of view from three main characters: Manny, Nellie, and Jack. The three of them also combined with a common thread that linked the third story.

With this not neat flow, Babylon actually looks satisfying. The translation of silent films to voice films as the main conflict is colored by all sweet riots.

The cast's acting ensembles are also very sweet. Diego Calva with all his passion meets Margot Robbie who deserves his acting. The change in expression in the fast time made Robbie very shining in this film.

In addition, Babylon also presented an unexpected line of stars, including Flea from the band Red Hot Chili Peppers, director Spike Jonze, model Kaia Gerber, Albert way of the band The Strokes, and others.

Throughout the film, we were also entertained by the sound presented by Justin Hurwitz. It's no secret that Hurwitz is a Chazelle collaborator. But the sound shown in Babylon seems grande and fantastic.

Babylon is a chaotic and beautiful film presentation. The experience of watching Babylon may be something that is rarely found in theaters. Visuals and beautiful sounds join into an interesting experience.

The Babylon film will hit Indonesian cinemas starting today, Friday, February 3.
