Hasto: Imports Party, Now This Is Not Appropriate For The Coalition With PDIP

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said PDIP saw or considered ideological suitability with other political parties before deciding to establish political cooperation. "In this collaboration, we see momentum, there is ideological suitability, platform conformity, future design suitability, and future perspective," said Hasto, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 3. He conveyed based on empirical facts, PDIP always works closely with other parties as the spirit of cooperation in Pancasila. Hasto gave an example of a political party that does not have ideological suitability and platforms with PDIP are parties that support food imports. "If against parties that like imports, now this is not suitable for PDI-P. We are more likely to work with parties that have ideological similarities, platforms, and agendas for the future," he said. Previously, while giving directions in the national seminar held by the Political Empowerment Agency (BPEK) The PDIP Center, Hasto said that PDIP continues to encourage the realization of Indonesia's food sovereignty without having to import food. The same thing was conveyed by DPR RI member Rahmad Handoyo who is the Secretary of the PDIP Central BPEK. In fact, Rahmad conveyed that PDIP's concern for the resilience and food sovereignty can be seen from their efforts to continue to encourage the birth of the nation's children's findings, the breeding of food crops, both rice, corn, soybeans, and other food manifolds. We believe that the existence of such superior varieties will encourage the passion of farmers because they will produce good production, followed by good prices as well, and in turn will improve their welfare, said Rahmad.

He added that one of the real work carried out by PDIP to improve the welfare of farmers was to introduce the findings of superior varieties to farmers, especially those who are members of the MSP community under the guidance of BPEK PDI Perjuangan.
