Dividends Of 680 Thousand Rice Cookers Entered The Priority Program Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held a working meeting with Commission VII DPR RI. During the meeting, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin tasrif conveyed a number of priority programs that the ministry will carry out during 2023.

One of the priority programs that Arifin conveyed, among others, will distribute 680,000 units of electric rice cookers (rice cookers).

"This is still under discussion with the relevant cross-sections," said Arifin, quoted on Friday, February 3.

In his presentation, Arifin did not convey the details of the budget that would be intended for this rice reduction program, but he ensured that his party allocated IDR 2.5 trillion for the public infrastructure budget and survey of energy and mineral resources.

In addition to distributing rice feeders, this budget will also be used for the continuation of the construction of the Cirebon-Semarang natural gas pipeline phase one for the Semarang-Batang segment which is expected to be completed in 2023.

"Then there are 20,000 fishermen, 30,000 farmers, 31,075 PJUTS, then 8097 APDAL units, 2 PLTMH units, 10 PLTS combined with 3T area, then 83,000 new electricity pairs were added," explained Arifin.

Previously, the discourse on distributing rice cookers emerged when put forward by the Sub-Coordinator of Electricity Business Commercial Relations Facilitation, the Directorate of Electricity Entrepreneurship Development, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Edy Pratiknyo.

Edy said that the government is currently discussing the discourse of distributing 680,000 rice cookers to 450 VA electricity customers.

According to Edy, later this rice treatment assistance will be distributed throughout Indonesia through the State Budget of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2023.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in terms of distributing this assistance will utilize data belonging to the Ministry of Social Affairs with a program package value of IDR 500,000 per beneficiary family (KPM).
