NasDem Legislator Asked The Provincial Government About Ciliwung Sodetan, Who Said He Was Stalled For 6 Years, The Head Of SDA Kasih Answer Office Like This

JAKARTA - Member of Commission D of the DKI DPRD from the NasDem faction, Nova Harivan Paloh, asked the provincial government for an explanation regarding President Joko Widodo's statement regarding the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan which he said had stalled for 6 years.

To the Head of DKI Jakarta Water Resources (SDA), Yusmada Faizal in a working meeting of Commission D, Nova wants to know the responsibility of the DKI Provincial Government in matters of the Ciliwung Sodetan project.

"Mr. Yusmada, I just asked for a little information about Sodetan Ciliwung. This was touted, he said it was stalled, at the SDA. So, how is the drain? The responsibility (of the government) is central or us? Where is the stall?" Nova said in a meeting at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Wednesday, February 1.

Yusmada replied that during the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) was tasked with carrying out construction and carrying out land acquisition and demolition of buildings in affected locations.

Meanwhile, Yusmada continued, the DKI Provincial Government is tasked with managing the administration or pre-planned land acquisition in the Ciliwung Sodetan project area.

"The land acquisition has a process called pre-planned, in the end it is a penlok (location determination). That's where our role is," said Yusmada.

In Government Regulation Number 19 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Land Procurement for Development for Public Interest, it is stated that the governor formed a preparation team that has a number of tasks in the land acquisition process.

Among them are implementing notification of development plans, initial data collection of construction sites, public consultation of development plans, preparing penlok, and announcing penlok.

"The design Layout was made by the petitioner, by the ministry. The ministry asks for a penlok if there is land acquisition. Well, the governor formed a committee for land acquisition preparations. The governor marked the drop," explained Yusmada.

On Tuesday, January 24, President Joko Widodo reviewed the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan on the Kebon Nanas outlet side, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Jokowi admitted that he was surprised that the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan, which had stalled for 6 years, could be immediately continued by Heru. After Heru took office, the DKI Provincial Government immediately carried out land acquisition for a number of residential areas that became sodetan outlet areas.

"The release (of the drains), I was also surprised, it was done by the Governor of Heru, I don't know what the approach was, but it's finished. That's why I came here because it was finished," said Jokowi at the location.

"Sodetan Ciliwung yang sudah berhenti 6 tahun ini kemarin satu satu setengah bulan telah dibebaskan lahan di sini, sehingga bisa dimulai lagi pemborannya dan kita harapkan nanti di April insyaallah sudah selesai," lanjutnya.
