Inter Milan Qualifies Coppa Italia Semifinals, Simone Inzaghi: We Do All Ways To Get It
JAKARTA - Inter Milan stepped into the semifinals of the Coppa Italia by eliminating Atalanta. I Nerazzurri qualified after a narrow 1-0 win over his opponent at the San Siro Stadium, Milan, Wednesday morning WIB.
After the first half ended in a 0-0 draw, Inter were only able to score a goal in the 57th minute.
It was Matteo Darmian who broke the deadlock. Taking advantage of the ball from Lautaro Martinez, the former Manchester United defender successfully broke into the Atalanta goal which was guarded by Juan Musso.
"We did well against a strong team. We want this semifinal ticket by doing everything we can," said Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi, after the match, as quoted by Stats Performer.
"It was a beautiful night for everyone. We are very proud to be the only team involved in all competitions in Italy."
Inter will face the winner of the match between Juventus and Lazio in the semifinals. The match between the two teams will take place on Friday, February 3 in the morning WIB.
