Coordinating Minister Airlangga: The Government Is Confident That 30 PSNs Are Worth IDR 360 Trillion In Terrealized In 2023

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto believes that 30 National Strategic Projects (PSN) with an investment value of IDR 360 trillion can be realized in 2023.

"From the existing list (list), we are optimistic that this figure can be achieved," said Airlangga after a limited meeting related to increasing economic and tourism activities after the revocation of PPKM at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, January 30.

Airlangga explained that as many as 30 PSN, among others, the Batu Bara Gasification project in Tanjung Enim, Weda Bay industrial area, Batang industrial area, Kijing Terminal International Port, Beringin Sila Dam, Sanur Port, and Tebing Tinggi Train.

The government, said Airlangga, will also continue to erode debottlenecking for smooth investment flows, such as facilitating licensing so that development continues.

"Regarding the spatial planning and approval of the building which becomes a bottleneck, it will be completed by revising Government Regulation (PP) Number 5," he said.

The PP referred to by Airlangga is Government Regulation (PP) Number 5/2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing.

During the meeting, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also asked his staff to encourage the operation of special economic zones, especially the tourism sector, to attract the number of foreign tourist visits and domestic tourists.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno on the same occasion, said the government significantly increased the target of foreign tourism markets in 2023, namely the number of foreign tourist visits which doubled to 7.4 million people.

"This is with several policies such as increasing the number of flights, the President also gave directions for the development in the tourism Special Economic Zone (Special Economic Zone) to be accelerated so as to create business opportunities and employment opportunities," said Sandiaga.
