Army Military Police Can Additional 83 Pajero And 58 Concourse Areas For Guards
Army Chief of Staff General TNI Dudung Abdurachman distributed new escort vehicles to the Army Military Police (Pomad) unit at Headquarters.
The symbolic procession was marked by the handover of the key from Kasad to the Deputy Commander of the Puspomad Brigadier General Eka Wijaya Permana after the handover ceremony for the position of High Officer (Pati) of the Indonesian Army, according to a press statement received in Jakarta as quoted from Antara, Monday, January 30.
The Pomad unit received a new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV and Kawasaki Concourse 1,400cc motorcycles as a result of the Ministry of Defense procurement.
There are at least 83 Pajero Sport units, consisting of 76 units of variant 4x4 and seven units of variant 4x2, as well as 58 units of Concourse 1,400cc which were handed over to Pomad.
The Army Chief of Staff confirmed that the new escort vehicles would later be distributed to all Pomad units in Indonesian territory.
The procession for the delivery of Pomad escort vehicles was also attended by Military Police Commanders (Danpomdam) throughout Indonesia and major Puspomad officials.
