Ganjar Calls Hevearita Gunaryanti, The 7th Female Cadre Of PDIP, To Be The Regional Head

JATENG - Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu has been officially appointed Mayor of Semarang. The Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo said that the inauguration of Hevearita increased the number of PDI-P (PDIP) cadres to become regional heads.

"Currently there are nine female regional heads in Central Java, seven of whom are cadres from the PDI-P, namely Purbalingga regent, Klaten regent, Sukoharjo regent, Demak regent, Grobogan regent, and Sragen regent," said Ganjar in Semarang, Central Java, Monday 30 January.

In fact, Ganjar added after inaugurating Hevearita as Mayor of Semarang for the remaining 2021-2026 term, Hevearita became the first woman to serve as mayor in the history of the Semarang City government.

Ganjar revealed that the PDI-P is the party that gave birth to the most female regional heads, namely 43 female regional heads, 14 of whom are cadres of the white-nosed bull party.

If you add nine deputy regional heads, the PDI-P now has 25 female regional leaders.

"This is a manifestation of the spirit of Marhaenism and Sarinah in the modern era," added Ganjar.

He quoted the thoughts of the first President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno in Sarinah's book.

"The origin of the culture was originally he was the first cultural builder. He and not a man. He was the former builder of human civilization," said Ganjar quoting Bung Karno's book.

Ganjar remembered the figure of Kunti in the Mahabharata epos which was described as a woman not as wild as nrimo ing pandum (Java philosophy to be sincere and sincere), but also a figure who was desperate (blood) to fight for his people as well as a teacher who built culture and customs for his children.

"Kunti's greatness is based on women regional heads. They are not only able to become serious competitors in terms of achievements, some of which are even bolder and more progressive than male regional heads," said the Head of PP Kagama.

He also gave an example of the progress of Grobogan Regent Sri Sumarni who applied for a loan of Rp115 billion to accelerate the development of 19 sub-districts in Grobogan. The breakthrough was to overcome the very small Grobogan APBD for development costs.

In addition, there is also the Regent of Klaten Sri Mulyani who collaborated with the National Nuclear Energy Agency (Batan) to develop Padi Rojolele to give birth to the Rojole Srinar and Rojole Srinuk varieties with shorter planting ages and more pest-resistant and higher prices.

"The great thing about these PDI-P female cadres is not the result of magic. They are real cadres, fighting from below, not the result of a far left and right. We achieved it with a very long struggle," he said.

This achievement, according to Ganjar, cannot be separated from the struggle of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to oversee the birth of the Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence, the Law on Placement and Protection of Manpower Abroad, to the Law on the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons.

"All laws were born in order to maintain the dignity of women, including the establishment of regeneration through special educational programs for female cadres. At that time, it happened that I got the task of becoming a speaker in a female cadre course in Ciawi, Bogor," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the task of Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, Ganjar said that there was still a lot of homework to do. He admitted that he was ready to collaborate with the Semarang City Government.

"Mbak Ita, I encourage you to continue to optimize all the potential of Semarang City. Starting from trade, industry, transportation, education, tourism to infrastructure problems," he added.

On this occasion, Ganjar admitted that Megawati's presence at the inauguration provided enthusiasm and energy for PDI-P cadres in Central Java, especially in terms of working to serve the community.

"The presence of Mrs. Megawati in our midst is an extraordinary injection of energy for us to be more enthusiastic about working in serving the community," said Ganjar.

Hevearita as Mayor of Semarang continued the remaining term of office in 2021-2026 replacing Hendrar Prihadi who was appointed Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) in October 2022.
