JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 18,796 specimens were examined with the results of 199 new positive cases of COVID-19.

Banten has 20 new cases with a total of 365,849. Then, East Java with 18 new cases, bringing the total to 637,536 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 85 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 56 recovered cases, and East Java with 33 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 31 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 114,733,689.
"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 1.33 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 1,410 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 204,226,570 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 175,061,638 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 69,356,519 and the fourth dose of vaccination was 1,257,075. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
