Rock Camp Documentary Trailer Show Slash And Alice Cooper As Counselors
JAKARTA - Slash, Alice Cooper and some of the biggest rock names from the 1970s and 80s appeared in the trailer for the documentary Rock Camp.
The film documents Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, an American camp that for more than two decades has provided music lovers the opportunity to play and learn first-hand from rock stars.
Slash and Cooper are among the many rock stars who have taken on the role of counselor over the years.
Initiated by producer David Fishof in 1996, Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp saw rockers teach and inspire campers over four days. This activity ends with the participants and counselors performing together in a large concert.
In the trailer for Rock Camp, Cooper is seen reflecting on the people who were there and the nature of the camp.
"You're going to have a 15 year old kid playing the drums, and a dentist playing the guitar," Cooper said.
"If this band were a real band, it would be the weirdest band, but cool!"

The film, directed and produced by Douglas Blush (Stardom, Twenty Feet), tells the story of four campers' experiences as they learn to perform from some of the greatest rock'n'roll artists.
Apart from Slash and Cooper, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Dave Navarro, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS, former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Jeff Beck and members of Judas Priest, all of which can be seen in the trailer, respectively. served as a camp counselor during the organization's 25 year history.
The film will be released in virtual theaters on January 15, 2021, before being available on demand (on demand) on February 16.
