JAKARTA - Indonesian national team player, Asnawi Mangkualam, has officially changed clubs. He is no longer in the Ansan Greeners uniform in K League 2 this season.
The player who once defended PSM Makassar officially joined Jeonnam Dragons. This news is not surprising because the player has often been associated with his new club.
The inauguration of Asnawi's move to Jeonnam was revealed by the club through their official website and official social media accounts.
"Jeonnam officially recruited Asnawi, the first player from Southeast Asia (ASEAN) to play for the club and is currently a member of the Indonesian football national team," said the official statement from Jeonnam.
"Asnawi who has a height of 174cm and 75kg, and has a lot of high activity and speed, has played 40 games, scored two goals and made three assists in two seasons in K League 2," continued Jeonnam.
It was not stated in detail how long Asnawi's contract was signed. To be sure, he officially ended two seasons of his career with Ansan.
"We want to thank Asnawi for adapting quickly for the first time in K-League over the past two years, and what impressed fans of K-League football and fans of Ansan Greeners FC," said management Ansan.
"Thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication to the team at Ansan, and we will support Asnawi's future," continued the statement.
