Heru Budi Orders Mayors To Use CSR So That Densely Populated Areas Have A Communal MCK
Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked the mayor to use CSR funds as an alternative financing in building communal Mandi, Washing, Kacus (MCK) facilities.
"I have ordered the mayor, there is a CSR to enter there," said Heru after reforestation at the Textile Center Laboratory in Jakarta, Friday, January 27.
However, he did not provide details on the total CSR budget in DKI Jakarta and the value to be allocated for the plan to build the communal MCK.
The construction of the MCK, he continued, is to accommodate the basic needs of the community, especially in densely populated areas. In addition, maintaining cleanliness includes environmental sanitation such as rivers so as not to be contaminated with waste.
"The important thing is to keep clean once again so that Jakarta can be free from garbage. It is guarded by locations in all kinds of rivers and reduce waste," said Heru.
One of the MCK facilities that has been completed is in RW 04, Rawasari Village, Central Jakarta.
"I urge residents in RW4 Rawasari to use it. The local government and Baznas have been built so that one point of vulnerability or prone to slum conditions can change," he said.
As for the construction of the MCK, one of which is carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Water Resources Service (SDA). The DKI SDA Office has completed the construction of 11 communal MCKs in five administrative areas by the end of 2022.
The SDA Office noted that the total budget for the communal 11 MCK revitalization reached IDR 3.5 billion, with details of physical development reaching IDR 2.85 billion and monitoring of IDR 650 million.
Previously, the MCK's need was urgent because there were still residents of DKI who carried out domestic waste disposal, namely randomizing.
At a plenary meeting that scheduled the delivery of the views of factions in the DKI DPRD regarding the 2023 Regional Budget Draft, Wednesday (9/11/2022), DKI DPRD member Thopaz Nugraha Syamsul revealed that the findings of as many as 770 thousand DKI residents were still defecating carelessly.
"According to data from the DKI Provincial Health Office in 2021, it is stated that there are still 770 thousand Jakarta residents who defecate carelessly," he said.
For this reason, his party requested to strengthen the budget for Perumda for the Jaya Wastewater Management (PAL) which was allocated in the provision of communal septic tanks. The provision of the tanks is directed at densely populated and slum residential areas.
