The Implementation Of Health Protocols At Carita Beach Pandeglang Is Tightened
JAKARTA - The management of the Carita Beach tourism object, Pandeglang, Banten Province has tightened the implementation of health protocols (prokes) on the New Year 2021 holiday to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
"We support the government's program to control COVID-19 by implementing the program," said Ruki, a manager of the White Sand tourist attraction in the Carita Beach Area in Pandeglang, as reported by Antara, Thursday.
Tourists who attend are required to wear masks, keep their distance, wash their hands and avoid crowds (4M).
In addition, his office also checks body temperature for tourists and provides a sink for washing hands using soap.
"We prioritize safety and protection so that tourists are free from the threat of the corona virus," he said.
According to Ruki, so far, no Carita Beach tourists have tested positive for COVID-19. Because, his party is quite strict in implementing the prokes and tourists are prohibited from entering if they do not wear masks and keep their distance.
In addition, his party made appeals to tourists with loudspeakers so as not to crowd.
"We always invite tourists who come here to implement health protocols for the prevention of COVID-19," he explained.
He said that so far, turnover had decreased drastically to 75 percent due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thus affecting tourist visits to the west coast of Banten Province.
The coastal area of Carita Beach has an attraction and is a favorite of tourists, because there are bananas, zetski, surfing and swimming on tires.
The Pandeglang Regency Government allows tourism objects to re-open to the public towards the end of 2020.
"We are devastated by the absence of tourist visitors, and they were even closed for nearly nine months to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said.
Meanwhile, Hendra, a Carita Beach tourism manager, admitted that it was confirmed that the turn of the New Year's Eve 2021 tourist visits from various regions in a number of cities in Banten, DKI Jakarta and West Java Provinces, was quiet.
Those tourists cannot celebrate the new year to the beach area following the implementation of the PSBB to prevent COVID-19.
