Almostroyed, The ODGJ Man In Jagakarsa Climbed To The Roof Of A Resident's House, Thought To Be A Thief

JAKARTA - A man with the initials YR was arrested by residents on charges of theft. YR was caught while infiltrating a resident's house on Jalan Cempaka, West Tanjung, South Jakarta. Jagakarsa police chief, Kompol Multazam Kompol Multazam Lisendra confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 24, at 22.25 WIB.

"(YR was caught at the time-ed) has gone up to the roof of the victim's house," Mulatazam said when confirmed, Thursday, January 26.

However, he made sure that no property belonging to the victim was stolen by the perpetrator. Because the owner had already been caught, after being arrested the perpetrator was handed over to the police.

"We arrived at the scene, we immediately secured it," he said.

Despite being arrested, the victim chose to settle amicably with the perpetrator.

"The victim did not prosecute the suspect legally," he said.

Multazam also said that the alleged perpetrator was suspected of having a mental disorder, or a Mental Disorder (ODGJ). Therefore, the perpetrator was handed over to the DKI Jakarta Social Service.

"The perpetrator has been sent to the DKI Social Service for rehabilitation," he concluded.
