The Ministry Of PUPR Targets To Build 31 KPBU Projects Worth IDR 212.52 Trillion This Year
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing (DJPI) continues to strive to expand the scope of cooperation in financing infrastructure development through the role of business entities, using the Government Cooperation scheme with Business Entities (PPP).
Director General of Infrastructure Financing Herry Trisaputra Zuna said, in the 2022 fiscal year, DGTI has worked on 27 KPBU projects worth IDR 269.78 trillion in the preparation stage and seven KPBU projects worth IDR 68.96 trillion in the transaction stage.
"At TA 2023, the Ministry of PUPR through DGTI targets 14 KPBU projects worth IDR 73.93 trillion in the preparation stage and 17 KPBU projects worth IDR 138.41 trillion in the transaction stage," Herry said in his official statement, as quoted on Thursday, January 26.
Herry said, at the preparation stage, it consisted of three SDA projects worth IDR 20.74 trillion, four road and bridge projects worth IDR 34.55 trillion, six residential projects worth IDR 17.91 trillion, and one housing project worth IDR 730 billion.
Then, at the transaction stage, it consisted of five SDA projects worth IDR 11.72 trillion, two road and bridge projects worth IDR 70.44 trillion, four residential projects worth IDR 13.22 trillion, and six housing projects worth IDR 43.21 trillion.
"The financial realization in the 2022 FY reached 85.31 percent with a physical realization of 85.94 percent. Then, in FY 2023, the DJPI portion in the 2023 Budget Ceiling (BA.033) is IDR 165.9 billion," he said.
Herry added that the Ministry of PUPR through DJPI also continues to target housing financing assistance for Low-Income Communities (MBR) with a total of 232,072 units in FY 2023.
Later, this target will not only be realized through housing financing assistance for the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme, but also through the Public Housing Savings (Tapera) scheme.
"The total target came from the addition of 220,000 FLPP schemes with a budget allocation of Rp. 25.18 trillion and a Tapera scheme of 12,072 units with a budget allocation of Rp. 1.05 trillion," explained Herry.
He said the FLPP 2023 scheme would also be accompanied by the Mutual Assistance Subsidy (SBUM) program with a total of 220,000 units of Rp0.89 trillion and the Interest Disposal Subsidy (SSB) program of Rp 3.46 trillion for payment for the issuance of mortgages in previous years as many as 754,004 units.
So that the total target of distributing housing financing assistance in FY 2023 is IDR 29.53 trillion, which comes from the State Budget and IDR 1.05 trillion comes from public funds.
"For the total achievement of housing financing assistance in the 2022 FY as many as 237,886 units, worth Rp29.11 trillion and reaching 99.25 percent of the target for the 2022 FY as many as 239,672 units worth Rp29.21 trillion," added Herry.
For information, innovation in financing sustainable and sustainable infrastructure development needs to be done to overcome the limitations of the state budget in financing infrastructure development.
The 2020-2024 State Budget's capabilities are also projected to be only able to meet 30 percent or around Rp. 623 trillion of the total budget requirement for infrastructure supply, so that this can lead to a funding difference that must be met.
