Police Arrest Terrorists In The Makassar Mujahidin Mosque Bomb

MAKASSAR - The police arrested the perpetrators of the bomb terror at the Mujahidin Mosque, Maccini, Makassar. The perpetrator is now being handed over to the Makassar Police for further investigation.

"The initial perpetrator, Zu (21), and now delegated to Polrestabes for follow-up handling," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Makassar Police, Iptu Syamsul Tompo, told reporters, Wednesday, December 30 evening.

The Makassar Mujahidin Mosque received phone threats about the bomb terror. The police came to the location, but now the conditions are sterile.

Based on the information gathered, residents reported the threat of terror bombing at the Mujahidin Mosque, Maccini, Makassar to the police station on Wednesday, December 30.

"According to the reporters, initially at around 17:14 WITA the perpetrator called the reporter," said the report compiled by journalists.

In a telephone conversation, the terrorists threatened to destroy the mosque. The terrorists claimed to have placed explosives near the pulpit. But the location of the mosque at 23.07 WITA, is now sterile. The police have left the location

"I am a terrorist and want to destroy the mosque," said the terrorist from the report quoted by VOI.

"Don't you friends, it would be a sin to destroy the mosque," said the recipient of a terror threat call who reported to the police.
